I can’t deny; I love learning and have always loved an opportunity to purchase a new book/notepad! The best thing about the school holiday was the annual trip to WHSmiths for a new pencil case and unnecessary school supplies!!
Unsurprisingly, now I’m a business owner, I am still feeding the same book/notepad obsession! Oops!
For us self-employed folk, it can be quite overwhelming when looking for new business advice/tips/tricks.
There is just sooooo much information out there, it can be difficult to know where to start!
Over the past six months, I have signed up for many a mailing list and downloaded every possible podcast, watched tutorial after tutorial and jumped into (one too many) Facebook groups!
And mostly what I have found is the same information circling around and around, merely disguised by different writing styles/tone of voice.

Now, I’m sure I don’t need to tell you which of the two is more important? But for many, harnessing and portraying self-confidence alllllways seems to be the most challenging!
I wanted to offer a little light assistance in the form of one of my favourite mediums; BOOKS!
For full disclosure, I haven’t read every book listed within this post. But I do own a large majority of them and recommend them often!
