First-time parents Maja and Nathan booked a very impromptu, and last-minute, maternity session with me ahead of their little one’s arrival in early November.
Maja chose Holland Park for their shoot as it is the couples favourite London spot for a little escapism from the hustle and bustle of city life. And after a little walk around the park (accompanied with a seasonal Pumpkin Spice Latte!), we settled into a few quiet spots to take our photos.

Maja and Nathan (despite their initial reservations) did amazingly well in front of the camera (as is evident by their gorgeous photos)!
A recurring conversation that I often have with my clients is how to tackle feeling nervous in front of the camera! And it’s not uncommon to worry about being awkward or feeling nervous in front of the camera. Even I get a little awkward when it’s time for me to take a turn on the other side of the lens!
And this is why I make it my no.1 priority to ensure that you not only look great on camera but that you feel great too!
Here is what Maja wrote after her session: “I enjoyed it lots and I wasn’t feeling awkward at all! Would definitely do it again haha next time with the baby maybe!”
