The world has been a dark, scary and emotional place these last few (million) weeks! The news – if we dare to watch it – is, mostly, filled with stories of sadness and fear. While our day-to-day is packed full of anxiety and hand sanitiser!
And I daren’t even mention business!
Furloughs are being handed out like they’re everyone’s favourite snacks. Companies are now turning on their most loyal staff like they’re Regina George.
Or, if like me, you’re ‘lucky’ enough to run your own business? Then the chances are that you too are on the brink of an emotional and financial breakdown! (And possibly need to put the snacks down and attempt some P.E with Mr Wicks!)
But after lots of “what the hell am I going to do now” talks with friends, it turns out that there are a few things we photographers can do to spread a little happiness! (And to stop ourselves from going completely insane with boredom!)
Socially distanced photoshoots – capturing you in/outside of your home! All while remaining either 6ft away or on the other end of the phone!
Whether you want to forever be able to look back at this time in your life and remember it as the year you spent in your pyjamas, surrounded by puzzles with a, rather large, mug of wine! Or, for a little extra irony, put on your sassiest outfit to sit and smile from your sofa! The possibilities are endless!
All that I ask of my clients is that you pay what you feel!
For every booking I receive, 10% of each donation will be going directly to the St Albans & District Foodbank!
